• One of our officers stopped a vehicle for having a defective tag light.

While speaking with the driver, the officer noticed that the man’s eyes were watery. When asked for his license, the man informed the officer that it was suspended for a previous DUI. During the conversation, the man admitted that he had just left a local bar, and that he had “a couple of shots of Tequila” earlier in the evening.

During the course of the subsequent investigation, the officer found additional evidence to suggest that the man had been operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. He was then placed under arrest, and charged with having a Defective Tag Light, and DUI (Less Safe).
