Officers responded to an address on Miller Avenue in reference to a possible prowler.
While speaking with our team, the caller stated that he’s been having an ongoing problem with a neighbor coming onto his property uninvited. The man also asked to start the Criminal Trespass process and was advised to call us back if and when the neighbor returned.
A report was filed, and no further action was taken at that time.

One of our officers found a debit card lying in the parking lot of a local restaurant. The card was then transported to the Tybee Island Police Department, where it as placed into our property room for safekeeping.

While speaking with our team, the man stated that someone had stolen a bicycle from underneath his residence on 6th Avenue. A report was filed, and the case was forwarded to investigations.

While speaking with an officer, the man stated that he had been leaving a local condominium complex when the gate closed on the side of his truck. The incident resulted in damage to both the gate, and the vehicle.

A short time later, the rightful owner responded to the station and retrieved her property. A report was filed, and no further action was taken during that time.
