Born and raised in California, Erica Coreno relocated to Georgia in 2006. Following her graduation from the Georgia Public Safety Training Center, she proudly served as an officer with the Armstrong Atlantic State University Police Department for over 3 years. Since joining our team in 2011, she has filled a variety of roles including patrol officer, shift supervisor, detective, and Criminal Investigations Division Supervisor. While serving in that capacity, she has dedicated herself to ensuring every case is handled with care, compassion, and attention to detail.
Among her many personal achievements, Lieutenant Coreno is a Graduate of Saint Leo University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. She also holds a Certificate of Criminal Justice from Columbus State University and completed the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center’s Department of Homeland Security Leadership Academy.
As she helps guide our agency into the future, she remains committed to personal growth, strong leadership, and service to others.
