All of the sinks were knocked loose, with a couple sustaining damage to their plumbing in the process. Last but not least, a toilet in the far corner of the room had been damaged and was leaking water.

During the course of the investigation, the officer learned that there was a camera near the entrance to the restroom. A report was filed, the footage was obtained, and the case remains under investigation.

When asked about how much alcohol he had that evening, the man admitted to having two margaritas at a local restaurant.

While he was being loaded into a patrol vehicle, the man threatened to kill the arresting officer, referred to him by vulgar names, and kicked at the car door in an effort to prevent it from being closed.

Despite all of this, the officer stopped the car during the transport and assisted the man in adjusting his body into a more comfortable position, after he complained of being in extreme pain.

The man was then taken to the Chatham County Detention Center, where he was booked into custody on the charges of Speeding, Obstruction, and DUI (Less Safe).

He was then placed under arrest and charged with Failure to Maintain Lane, Open Container, No License on Person, and DUI (Less Safe).
